Book 3 done

I have just finished The Hunger Games. I have mixed feelings about this one. I definitely don't condone people killing each other, especially kids. This is certainly not a book for young readers. I won't let my kids read it until they are at least 14 or 15 years old when I know they will understand it more.

That said, I did enjoy the book. I would like to be like Katniss. She's tough and tender, can fend for herself, and is a survivor. I am looking forward to learning what happens when she gets home to District 12 in the next book.

Hunger Games

Hunger Games is the next book I have chosen to read. I've heard it's an excellent book. There are two others in the series, so I'm sure I'll end up reading those as well.
