The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Just finished the first book of the trilogy by Stieg Larsson. I thought it was as good as everyone has told me.

Mickael Blomkvist is in a lot of trouble. He has published an article in his magazine that has been found libelist in nature. He has to step down from his position and spend 3 months in gaol (prison).

He is approached by a man who has a job for him to do - find out which of his relatives murdered his niece in 1966. In return would be information to take down Hans-Erik Wennerstrom, the subject of the article that got him a prison sentence.

As he digs into the lives of the Vanger family, he uncovers new information about the case of the missing Harriet Vanger. He gets help from Lisbeth Salander, a young hacker who has a long, strange past herself.

It's a wonderful book and I can't wait to read the next one, The Girl Who Played With Fire.

  1. I really loved the first two books. Judy gave them to me at Christmas time. The second one is no disappointment!!
I just wish the movies weren't rated R. I understand why they would be but.................
